Hyperspectral
Merrick has the capability and resources to collect hyperspectral imagery integrated with the firm’s multi-sensor data collection platform. This includes the Leica ALS-50 (Phase II) and Merrick’s Digital Airborne Camera System (DACS-II). All sensor systems are co-registered with the firm’s Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) and Airborne GPS (AGPS) to support simultaneous data collection. Merrick’s Advanced Remote Sensing Software (MARS®) supports the loading and analysis of hyperspectral data, which provides data fusion capabilities through the integration of LiDAR and hyperspectral imagery.
Merrick is the first commercial geospatial firm in North America to provide this type of multi-sensor simultaneous data collection.
