A unique aspect of Merrick is our specialty expertise in the conceptualization and detail design of mechanical equipment and enclosure systems for nuclear materials operations and the associated shielding, remote handling, and material conveyance systems. Merrick has designed hundreds of custom gloveboxes, hoods, enclosures, environmental chambers, and hot cells for nuclear, military, pharmaceutical, and microelectronics applications.
Many of our engineers and designers have fabrication experience and are adept at preparing build-to-print fabrication drawing packages. Merrick projects have received several engineering excellence awards in this category in both state and national design competitions.
